    @snaggle2th

    I am interested in speculation from those who have gone through the Mad Mage adventure. Going on the product description below, we know that the set will include:

    • Both Large & Huge figures;
    • Elf Cleric of the Grave
    • Death Tyrant
    • Halaster
    • Flumph
    • Froghemoth

    The accompanying image also includes a drow, a githyanki and a mind flayer. As I have griped before, I would love to see a (non-flying) Huge dragon. Any other guesses/predictions?

    On minisgallery we have speculated a lot of pages on that, so I’d direct you there… Basically we know the Uncommons will be Huges in this set, and we know of at least 5 that we have seen at a convention – Frogemoth, Behir, Balor and Goristo.
    Also we have seen the Death Tyrant who is oddly on a Medium base (so likely counts against the number of Medium Rares despite the size, same as the Ulitharid in MM3)and what is definitely Trobriand, the Metal Mage (in the adventure, he is in an Iron Golem body). We have also seen a Flumph, Bheur Hag and the Elf Cleric of the Grave.

    My predictions are that we’ll likely get some other Uncommon Huge sized monsters in the set, since we have seen that the boosters are sized for Huges, like SKT or MM3. Some good candidates would be the Remorhaz, T-rex, Scaladar (they were introduced in this adventure), Hydra, Ki-Rin, some sort of Huge Dracolich maybe, Abominable Yeti (there is one in the adventure), or maybe other Huge Dinosaurs.

    Thanks for the details. At the time I posted, the gallery wasn’t loading for me. The sculpt for the Death Tyrant is clever. Definitely looking forward to seeing what the other Huges are.

    If you keep an eye on this thread link for the set, you should be able to stay pretty up to date with the latest additions (and speculations) to the gallery:

    I’m really looking forward to what else this set will contain. It defintately looks like we are going to be getting several unique minis in this set and I like what I have seen so far.

    I really like Halaster’s Lab as well but I honestly don’t see myself using many of the items in the pack.
